How are Arch Academic sessions delivered?

All lessons are delivered through live 1-on-1 virtual video calls with a Toronto-based instructor. Students receive real-time conversation practice, pronunciation feedback, and personalized coaching throughout each session.

How does scheduling work across time zones?

Arch Academic offers flexible appointment times for families in China and Vietnam, including SGT and ICT-friendly windows. Preferred class days and times can be submitted through the booking form and confirmed before enrollment.

What is included in the free 45-minute trial?

The trial includes a friendly 1-on-1 diagnostic evaluation of pronunciation, conversational fluency, listening response, and confidence. Parents then receive a recommended mentorship pathway tailored to the student.

Which ages and grade levels do you teach?

Programs serve students from Kindergarten through Grade 12. Lesson content, pace, vocabulary, and communication goals are adapted to each student’s age and current English level.

Is this an English grammar or test-preparation course?

The primary focus is live spoken communication: natural pronunciation, accent refinement, listening, conversational flow, presentations, interviews, and real-world academic confidence. Grammar is addressed when it directly improves clear speaking.

Can lessons help prepare my child for studying abroad?

Yes. High school and study-abroad mentorship focuses on fluent discussion, academic presentation skills, interview readiness, and confident communication in Canadian, American, British, and Australian learning environments.

Are lessons personalized for each student?

Yes. Every session is private and tailored to the student’s fluency, hesitation patterns, pronunciation needs, interests, confidence level, and long-term education goals.

What technology does my child need?

A smartphone, tablet, or computer with a stable internet connection, camera, microphone, and access to the agreed video-call platform is sufficient. Headphones are recommended for clearer pronunciation work.

How much does a standard lesson cost?

The standard rate is CAD $40 for one 60-minute private session. Discounted rates may be available for prepaid multi-session booking packages.
